Progress Post 16

Today I added some scripts for making the bullet travel upward from the character. I colored the bullet to look like a banana.

Progress Post 15

Today I added a player movement script so the character can move back and forth. I also added a bullet, but haven't added a script for that.

Progress Post 12

Today I just researched kinds of formats to make my top down game. I like this one and this one.
The first one seems simpler so I might use that. Not sure how i'll use my monkey character in it, but I'm sure I'll find a way...

Progress Post 11

I have officially hit a roadblock. I do not think It's possible for me to finish my original idea in a week or two without using all standard unity assets, which would defeat the point of even making a game. I need to make something that at least includes something to do with the monkey I made, because since day one that's what my blog has been based around. My solution to this will be to download unity at home, and work vigorously on a new simpler game format. I'm thinking either a top-down arcade format, like Pac-Man, or just making Pong but with a monkey getting hit back and forth.

Progress Post 11

Much like yesterday, I'm re-organizing everything. I'm halfway through remaking my character asset but this time I'm creating it in the same format that the "Robot Boy" prefab was created. This way I hope I won't have problems actually using my monkey character in my world. 🙈🙏
